law enforcment watched over & supported the whole event, even the fire brigade wet the road, while hunderds lined the strip while a drag car screams down it, & they think thats a controlled safe environment? & the enevatable happens & people die as a result, then they wanna sue him for everything he's got & send him to jail....america is one F up place!!!

It was pretty much an accident waiting to happen, he was foolish for doing such an act with that many people around & close to the road, but i dont belive he is the onley one at fault...

I feel for the guy and don't blame him as such but you have to ask yourself, as an experianced drag racer, should I be performing a burnout in such a manner with spectator's nearby with no safety barrier's what so ever, I guess the adrenaline was running high at that stage, which would only be normal.
The orginazers of the event should also be held accountable,
It is very sad and I would not like to be in his shoe's, but I don't believe the man should go to goal, somebody will allway's be looking for revenge, and someone should be held accountable for this accident, but to point the finger soley at the driver is wrong, there are more parties responseable here then him.
