She shouldn't have to warn people about this...it's common sense not to work around flammables while smoking.

If you do, you almost deserve to be torched.

It's because of people like her that warning labels on chainsaws tell you not to stop them with your hands or genitals.

Oooh yes! I'm glad I read that! Was gonna ask my mates to help me clean my mower while playing poker and having a bonfire in my lounge room. I might have to ring them and say the night is off, now! *sigh* I was so looking forward to it. Thank you Anelia Blackie for this pertinant reminder of the dangers involved...

I bought a small plant from the supermarket once. It had a label poking out of the plant mix, "do not eat", thank god.

What a stupid thing to do.

Reminds me of that youtube clip, a lady filling her 4x4 / van jams the pump on then lights up a smoke.....

Darwin was right after all....

She needs to set up a memorial like in Zoolander, when the models were killed in a tragic gasoline fight

Darwin missed by --><-- that much.

Everyone knows that you should only work on a lawnmower in the kitchen with the gas going - cigarette? Cigars only, lady!

In america the lawn mower manufacturer could face a law suit for not adequatly warning the user not to "work on the lawnmower in a bedroom while smoking"...

I reckon your on the money there. Remember the guy who sued when his Winnebago crashed.

Quote:
A motor home goes astray

Another urban legend is the story of a man who bought a 32-foot Winnebago motor home. While driving on the freeway, he set the cruise control at 70 mph and left the driver's seat to make himself a cup of coffee. After some time, the Winnebago left the freeway, crashed and overturned. The driver consequently filed a lawsuit against Winnebago for not advising him in the handbook that the motor home wouldn't drive itself while the cruise control was on. An Oklahoman jury is said to have awarded him USD 1.75 million plus a new Winnebago.

She feels it is her duty to warn other imbeciles not to smoke near fuel. Most mowers have a breather cap on the fuel tank, so even without the leak it could still ignite. But why would you clean it inside the house? It would make the room smell like cut grass and petrol for starters.

We need Sourbastard to put a stop to her the SA way - in a drum filled with acid. Before she does something else really stupid.
