Who do you think will be there at the end? And who do you think will win it?
At this stage, going off form, it's hard to say it won't be a repeat of last year's decider, but I'm hoping one of the underdogs will get up and clinch it. I think the Dragons, provided they on fire (pun not intended), will be a threat. But, they need to beat Manly first. If the Sharks (my team) can keep fluking it as they have been all year, will reach the semis but after that, they'll choke like the chokers they are. Roosters and Broncos need to lift many notches before I see either as a threat. The dark horse for me is Canberra. My wish is to have Manly belted by the Sharks (64-0) in the decider.

As a Roosters fan, would love to see them there, but sadly choking is becoming our specialty (Althought great that Mr Drop Ball-Mason is not playing).
The Sharkies have been a real sleeper team - was just saying to the old man last night, I have not seen many of their games yet they are up there. The Drizzle are a formidable side, but not unbeatable. Manly, the Choke Masters will need to dominate - last years GF was boring as all get out in the 2nd half..think Manly had left for Brookie at half time. Would love to see a local derby - interesting times. not happy with Saturday nights timing for games...what iswrong with a 5.30pm kick off game one and 7.30pm the second? Damn Channel 9 - its too late to start a live game IMO

Breath.... Go Manly ....... although I do suggest that it will in fact be a Manly -v- Sharks Grandfinal. Our house will be either vocal or dead quiet ...... I am that much a Manly fan I made sure I was born in Manly Hospital ...... hubby supports the other team : |

Manly the choke masters ?, yer last year but not as often as the no puff dragons have choked in the modern era.
Oh I only wish a Manly/Sharks GF ! Orford can at least run over those guys and set the play up but alas v's the Storm he will choke again grrrrr..... Come on Warriors you Islanders may not win but please make the Storm suffer/bruise 'em up hard you're good at that ! The Chickens and the Broncs will be an interesting contest I expect Lockyer get them through though. Yer the Raiders are a real Darky but I doubt they make it through to the GF but you never know, I hope the Eagles get there but meh as long as the football is good the coming weeks I'll enjoy anyway.

Warriors Vs Storm - Warriors beat Melbourne last time they played. Melbourne flogging souths will have done themselves no justice whatsoever, as they are facing a twice as physical side, who will be revved up as they have a lot to lose.
I honestly believe manly will scrape through against The dragons. Reason being, is that manly at brooky are very hard to beat, and manly will out discipline the dragons by a long shot. Sharks Vs Canberra?? These two teams have had an almost identical season... I really cant pick it, but I think the experience of Kimmorley at half back will be the difference between the two teams. Roosters V Broncos - Broncos I believe have had the best last 2-3 weeks leading into the finals, with solid wins and a full team without injury at the right time... Roosters have a five eighth who spends more time whingeing and whining than doing something useful with the footbal. Although I do agree with what has been said, losing Mason is the best thing that could of happened for the roosters. Anyhow, will be an interesting finals.. Hopefully P1 and P2 dont make it one sided again. Bit more of an even competition this year though.

Ok, heres my tip on what i think is going to happen.
St George Beats Manly. Canberra Beats Sharks. Melbourne Flog Warriors. That means Roosters and Warriors will be out. And Broncos and Melbourne have the week off until the semis ?? What you guys think? Credible?

Great end that Warriors game. Broncos now play the Drizzle...could the minor prmiers choke?
Sharks get a week off...leaning towards tem being there in the end. Chookies v Warrors will be a cracker..should be early Friday game too.

it seems the nrl is still as rediculous as the afl once was on finals
this doesn't really bother me as we won the spoon but how can melbourne finish on top - lose a game and then have to travel to brisbane next week for a knock out game same with roosters, going to auckland but that amuses me for anasta, o'meley and mason's situation surely the results over the course year should dictate that you receive a home final over all of the teams that finished below you |

the afl used to use the nrl system and it seems unfair to me. 6 months of work wasted in 2 hours once again i do not really care - i like storms colours, my old vfa club was purple and gold - but as i stated, we won the spoon so my care factor is not real high. i just like to see people/teams getting rewarded for their hard work |
