Guys i'm after someone to build a car my hands on skills are crap everytime i try to make something half decent it just comes out like crap i'm one of those people that can be hands on but bodge the job so i've decided to let someone else do it.
I'm looking for someone or a workshop to build me a car basically i wanna drop a car of to them and let them re-build modify the car from ground up. The only shops i can find on google is southern rod and custom but surely theres more of theese types of shops out there if anyone knows of any car builders please post them up. |

I can reccomend one but depends when you want it done. Its in Bayswater and concentrates on older Fords. Booked out on rebuilds till next year though. Engiine, driveline to full paint and restore.

lwm panels in echuca are the go, especially if you were looking at coming up to southern rod and custom anyway. lincoln is the owner and one look in his workshop will sell you on his workmanship. he has done a few jobs for me and i wont take my cars anywhere else. i know its a bit away from you but he does work from all over the country and its all from word of mouth.

you really need to have it where you can check on it regulary,as your very question can leed to being ripped off, and what ever you do DONT pay full quote up front, you need some control over what has been done to how much you are handing over,
ive personally seen 3 cars with up to $15,000 handed over before work was finished and shops shut down overnight and one just kept making excuses for over a year until bloke got car back minus $4000 and all that was done was strip car down and guards repaired

Be careful of tools who think they know everything.
Check out their work on their customers cars. Often its not the same standard as their own projects. |
