With the Focus plan now cancelled and the chance of local Kuga production no over, when, if at all is the Kuga coming here. Ford need a competitor to the RAV 4, CR-V and Forester as the Escape is getting old, although there might be an all new version coming soon in the US.
This is one market Ford need to compete in as some of these vehicles sell over 1000 a month. |

It has been rumoured.
The biggest hurdle for Kuga (at least in Australia) is the lack of an Automatic, naturally aspirated Petrol model. The UK model mix, is TDCi and i5T. Presuming a non-Turbo Petrol is on the way, then we may see Kuga here. Until then, the anemic sales of Escape must make the powers that be happy.
