Default 1957 wooden ammunition box

Found a 1957 ammunition box at my grandfathers house today (empty unfortunately haha)

Does anyone know if they are worth anything at all?

cheers!

Very common, just wander into any of the "militaria" shops.

It is worth maybe $10-$20.

I've got an old ammo box in my room I use to store old Ford/Mountain Bike mags in (Read: Porn mags)

Bought it for $20ish at a local army disposal store.

xf falcon, I have one too, but it's probably worth a bit more than yours. It's full of .303 ammo. Inside is a metal can and it's a bit like a tin of sardines with a little key type thing to open her up, which I haven't of course.
I have a 2 three 0's, but buy my ammo rather than crack this open.

there may be some of these around with historical significance - ergo more value possibly ALOT of value might be an idea to check the numbers etc on it to make sure its not historically significant

that is cool btw I would keep that
