Default Halo Spark Plugs

just wondering if anybody has used the halo sparks plugs in there focus!
i got an 06 model,
been told by a number of friends(mechanics) that these are the way to go.

The most important thing to remember with our model Focus is to use Platinum plugs. Unsure of the specific reason why, but most dealers seem to use platinum plugs as part of the 60k major service. If you have heard good things about these plugs from a number of mechanics, why not give them a go, definitely cheaper than the conventional brands.

I tried to do a search on reviews of these. They are a bit thin on the ground.

But I do question how the "halo" can be effective, as electrical current takes the path of least resistance, so will only spark across to one point on the "halo"....it will not form a "circle" of ignition.

Feels like a gimmick to me. If it was really effective, I think it would be a bigger success in the market

The lack of any regap adjustment will hopefully mean longer life in high compression engines. Hope the halo does not stick too far into the combustion chamber!!
