I love pretty much everything about this car, bar the rear end (the lights in particular). The back looks like something out of the 1980s, lets down the entire car IMO. |

It looks more upmarket than the A8, 7 series and S class, with a much nicer interior than the Maserati Quattroporte IMO.

Prefer the XF. But then again I'am one of the few people that loved the old XJ, could never understand why it never sold, much more interesting choice than a 7 Series or an A8.
Seriously whats with the interior styling those round vents look so out of place.

I love Jags but they always seem to get their timing wrong.
e.g. XJ220 released in a global recession Global recovery for 15 or so years but nothing much from Jag New XF released when biggest customers are in recession New XJ released when Greece is falling over and threatening to take the world with it. |

Nice bit of kit - barring the tail lights that take a bit to get used to, reminds me more of a Cadillac rear end for some reason - this Jag should be a winner.

I like it - original, still looks slinky but imposing like a Jag, modern, it will come down to the driving now

Looks like they've stuck the centre vents ontop of the dash with no thought gone into it, the akwardness reminds me of the early Pajeros, Pathfinders etc with the roll angle and altitude gagues.

Nice lines, but the front grille could be a tad more streamlined, and I agree with auxr in that I immediately thought of Cadillac when I saw the rear end. Could have done better there.

Hmmm dont know. Front on, quarter views look good. Looks kind of awkward in profile and the rear just doesnt add up to me. Lacks instant Jag recognition factor.
Not a bad effort all up though, I reckon it'd look better in the flesh.

I like it, I also love how the yanks don't find it necessary to stick an ugly number plate on the front of their cars, I guess we can fix that when it lands in Aus....

I've read the road tests in Wheels and Motor and they say it drives brilliantly. Jaguar are doing some great work, love the XF and bar the taillights and the black panel between the rear screen and side glass which looks dumb on light coloured versions, I love the XJ too.
Jaguars got its mojo back. |
