Default Has anybody seen "The Descent" movie yet?

For those of you who love horror/psychological thriller movies or any good movie in general I highly suggest you check this one out.

I just bought the dvd cheap from Virgin music store it was a bargain and definitely a movie I would recommend to just about anybody.

The story is about a group of female adventurists who decide to explore an uncharted cave located in the depths of forest somewhere in Eastern Europe.
Sounds like a cookie cutter formula for disaster? You cannot even begin to fathom the dangers they encounter.

The entrance to the cave collapses after they trigger a landslide.
As they venture deeper into the earth in a labrynth of tunnels and deadends they discover that they are not alone.

Carnivorish molemen who have lived in these caves for thousands of years begin to stalk the women killing and torturing them one by one.
Theres no where to run and no place to hide.

Pretty cool huh?
And NO, its not anything like the other movie which shares a similar name "The Cave" because that movie is trash.

This movie is very suspenseful and dramatic, the storyline is really well done too surprisingly and you will absolutely love the ending its totally insane!
I wont tell you though what happens that would be a total spoiler.

Anyway, for those of you who have seen this movie what did you think?
The start is a bit slow but builds speed quickly.

Those of you who havent seen this movie yet should most definetly check it out!

Also found this very cool (and sad) music video on the movie.
Warning contains spoilers and some disturbing scenes.

a brilliant film. proof that you dont need to have a big budget to make a good horror. there were a few good jumpy bits, and the cavemen things were nasty looking chaps. i am pretty sure it was the same people that did Dog Soldiers, another good horror.
