Is it normal for 1.6L engines to make rattle (tapping) noise?
Its more like lifters or valves sound like tik tik tik tik. Car is brand new 2011 LW Ambiente Focus, 1.6L petrol, manual and has done around 1000kms. Checked oil and everything looks fine. It does that only while idling. Any ideas??

I can hear that fan like sound as well along with tapping noise.
