Default speed camera photos

Just wondering what percentage of photos are taken from the rear?
Motorbike photos can't vote or you will skew the results.
Mobile speed camera photos only (no fixed ones).

I haven't voted but it depends on the camera. In QLD we have the old style nissan patrols that have a camera that takes a picture as you have passed (rear photo), how ever the newer style cameras all get you on approach (front on photo).

of my 4 speeding offenses, one was a fixed red light/speed cam in Adelaide's CBD. The others were mobile cars.. 2 were from behind (2001-2002) an one was an oncoming shot in 2009.
I remember seeing the car, getting blinded by the flash and noticing I was doing 76 in a 70 zone... But I took comfort in the knowledge that mobile speed cams only shoot you in the bum.. I was wrong.

In WA if you see a Nissan X-Trail on the side of the road check ya speed, my last ticket was from the front and in the rain.

I am surprised anyone has a rear shot, my couple were all front on from mobile units
My one and only fixed unit is from the rear(sad story really as it's a local unit and I drive past it every day, but at 3am after a 13 hour shift my mind was elsewhere so i got done for 110 in 100 zone)

But I see people drive past mobile units that are in clear site 500 metres away and get flashed from the rear

The 2 tickets I've had in the last 10 years were both photos of the front. One in Adeliade and one in Perth. 67 in a 60 in adeliade. And 100 in an 80 (on the freeway just before the 100 zone).

I've never been flashed for cash. My only speeding fine was done by an officer coming the other way on the high way.

Most mobile and fixed Scameras will get you both ways. They are designed to measure 2 lanes with mobile setup and up to 4 lanes with fixed (in NSW).
On the mobile cameras, you tell the camera the lane pattern and it will just flash for cash all day.

That is true, but I have only been done by units hidden on the centre median, this only allows them to only get you from one direction
when parked on the side of a divided road they will only be able to get traffic one direction due to median obstruction

Only time my car has been photo'd was in QLD a few years ago, my son borrowed the car. Not me dad says he. then I showed him the really clear profile photo of him at the wheel. heh heh. and he being 25 at the time, I made him pay.My point being that at that time, the angle shot from across the road was on.
