Default AP Racing brake kit for E-Series

Hi guys,

I have researching brakes on and off for the Sprint for a while now. I have been looking at both your 330mm twin piston kit and the 4 piston AP Racing kit that you have available for the EB-EL series falcons.

I am going to be using EB GT wheels and you guys have suggested the AP Racing brakes may not fit inside the 17" wheels. One of the guys on here has recently tested fitment of an EL GT rim over a 355mm 4 piston Brembo kit on an AU and found it fitted fine. Taking this information into consideration would there be any reason the AP racing kit wouldnt fit?? Is the AP racing caliper about the same size as the Brembo one??

Cheers guys.

Rich

The AP Racing caliper would be a similar size caliper but if the offset of the kit is similar to the brembo one then it may possibly fit.

Hey Matt,

any update on the upgrade to the 4 piston kit??

I'm hanging to see if that EB GT wheel fits over them.

Not just yet sorry. The machinist finally had time to start the kit and we found one of the uprights was damaged so i have just been chasing some more and should have 2 or 3 pair here this week so hopefully we can get started on the kit either the end of this week or next.Stay in touch.

We are still waiting on the front conversion hubs to be finalized which is dragging on a bit.

Hubs are done we have two kits in progress and we are trying various options with a 330mm rotor using various calipers as some have more clearance issues than others.

Just thought to express my interest in a similar kit to suit an EF Fairmont on 17's. I'd also be interested on front & rear braided lines to suit. Keen for any updates when available.

The AP Racing calipers are proving to be a bit of a problem on the applications as clearance is very limited but we are persisting with some kits we have to do thankyou.
