Were they actually any good? Just curious as I'd heard conflicting reports about them.

Unfortunately it is true, and it is NOT due to bad business decisions.

I had some work done by them on one of my cars and thought they were very good to deal with - practically gave me a giuded tour of the workshop when I dropped my car off. I was very happy with the results of the work too. Shame to see them close up shop. Brendan and Jim were top blokes in my opinion. |

I'm not going to share anything on this topic for two reasons. 1. There are already going to be a number of rumors floating around, and in no way am I going to add anymore. Anything I say on this topic is still a rumor, since you have not heard it directly from JMM. 2. It is not my position or right to come on here and announce the reason publicly. This is entirely up to JMM themselves, and whether they deem it appropriate or necessary to do so. |

Very disappointing news. They were great to deal with and Brendan had a great knowledge of all Falcons. Was going to take my car back in the future for some more work.. not anymore..

Sad to hear, they were always nice to me and all the parts they put in my car since 2004 are still working perfectly. I used to love walking around their workshop and seeing all the interesting things, and watching my car being worked on. Good luck to any future endeavours they may have.

:( I was planning on taking a road trip, to take my car there and have a 250kW inline 6. Have been for years. Those guys are heros, unlocking the six's potential. If you look at the website, it looks all upgraded. Did they work on anything besdies Falcons?

Ah damn, my workmate has had a lot of tuning work done by Jim Mock, and he suggested I take my EL down there once the new head has been put on so I can get it tuned, looks like I have to go somewhere else.

And who will advertise on the back of StreetFords? I'm pretty sure every back cover of the issues I have (only last couple of years) have their advertisement.

Yeah I had a bit to do with Brendon for my SOHC build, was very helpful to the point of chatting for 3 hours on a Saturday about setting a Wolf 3D up.
Shame but I guess it comes down to nobody really being that interested in EA-AU. Everyone has jumped on board BA+.

I think it more comes down to people who own these cars want instant performance and not prepared to lay out the extra costs to get running right first.

So is he going to sell the business to another place? From what I read, they had the best knowledge of how to tune the Ford six getting round.

Bugger, big shame.
I had one of the DEV5 kits way back when heaps of people used to bag them of the claims. Mine was spot on, made within 2kw of the claim on 2 dynos and went like the clappers with good 400m times.
