Hi all,
Just throwing it out there that I'm off to Barbargallo Raceway tomorrow to redeem my voucher for the V8 race experience I won right here at AFF. I've been told by friends that have done it before that its a real rush. Just a little bit excited. Cheers Darcy

It is a blast, I steered Nitro last time I was there, 9 laps, came back in hard on the last two laps and had smoke steaming from the brakes.
Absolutely thrilling, even managed to scare the instructor on the last lap Tip: when you see the braking points don't brake until you are past them and keep you foot into it as it tends to slide a bit, don't be scared  I am sure you'll have a blast also, even better, it's free for you  .

Have you got the ticket where you also get a couple of hot laps in a 4 seater car with the Instructor driving ? If so, do that one first. You'll learn a lot even in just a couple of laps watching the instructor. I wish I had of done that first..........

I did this at Eastern Creek a few years ago. The cars handle & brake really well - but gearing left a bit to be desired. Struggled to crack 180kph down the straight.... Enjoyed myself none the less & managed to lap a couple of other participants.

I got one of those for my 21st that I should be doing in November. Doing it with my Dad and he is a big race buff. He loves motorsport whilst I'm not that much of a fan of it. I gotta beat him!
