All I read into that is what the Yanks always do with model years; get confused!
They always show a car as being from the following year. Quite why they do this I've no idea. But we know they don't know how to write dates in correct format anyway, so that probably explains a bit... |

According to the dealers who went to the new models release in Melbourne, nothing is changing, unlike the Focus.
Have suggested prices will rise (could be a sales gimmic?), anyway have just signed a contract for a new white 2014 ST at a very good price. The car will be ready to take in the next couple of days. |

Whatever the price, now is a good time to go shopping for one, given that Ford's 2.9% finance deal is back on. Finding a 2014-build car in dealer stock is then going to be the issue...

Ryan, I do know the Sales Manager and grabbed it straight away at $26,200 on the road (bargain IMO), had done 50km however. The Renault ClioRS200 I looked at would gave cost about $8k more, did'nt like the idea or the reviews of the Renault's sluggish DSG.
Other than getting used to the firm ride, I cannot believe how well this goes through in the Adelaide Hills, had a V8 newish Holden Ute in front of me yesterday, he was speeding on the straights, easilly caught him up in the tight bits, could see him struggling a bit. Wow that sounds like a good price Willie! I was aiming for $27k drive away in NSW, so it is good point of reference.

I have also been considering the Clio DSG. My last hatch was a Clio 182 Cup. DSG and 4 doors has some appeal from a family perspective but the ST just seems like better value and has more appeal for some reason.

Mine comes in 3-4 weeks , still they don't know what changes . From what I found on the net , the pedals might be different , that's it :(
Was really hoping for the U.S. dash , Aussie one is a bit ugly |

The only time there will be a difference is if they do a mid-life update; changing spec year-to-year generally doesn't happen with Euro Fords...

just got reply from Ford today saying they are unable to provide with the release date or further information for the new Ford Fiesta ST, as this information has not yet been released to the public.
Is that mean we will eventually got the US spec? |

I'd very much doubt it, as the two Euro systems are totally different to the one on offer Stateside...

I was really hoping but I doubt it, I think it would've been advertised or leaked if there was a big change . Sounds like we'll have the first shipment of the 2015 though

Latest ST in May? I presume that means the facelifted Focus, because I've not heard a whisper about any Fiesta update...

finally got mine, looks like the only thing that changed are the gunmetal wheels are now standard and apparently the pedals are a little different. That's all I've noticed anyway

I hear the updated dash version won't be coming to australia because Ford want to have the best priced hot hatch on the market.
