My St is at 30000km and need new tyres. My F1s have been noisey for a long time so dont want f1s again plus want to spend less and have a harder quieter tyre With more life. Any ideas?

For some ideas, maybe you should check out Motor Magazines 2014 Tyre Test.

Pilot Sport 3's are a good tyre to run. Quiet as well. I have had issues with F1's in the past

I run Continental ContiSportContact 2s on my Focus and it puts down diesel torque no worries, they have a newer version out ContiSportContact 5, might be worth a look.

F1 lasted me quite well, great wet tyre and well rated in the dry too in my opinion. Depending on how **** you are, and if like me wishing to maintain the manufacturers rating there is not much in 235/40/18 in 95Y to pick from
