Talking Captain Risky XB Falcon

This is my model of Captain Risky's Stunt Falcon
Budget Direct – an Australian insurance company – have thrown us into 2015 with their new ‘Kick It and Rip It’ campaign with "Captain Risky". He makes his black and blue debut as a daredevil who’s just, well, not that good. But it’s funny and ridiculous and that is the success of this ad. It shows us someone so buffoonish, so uninsurable, that next to him, anyone can be insured.
The Falcon XB is from ThePartsBox.com and the decals are available exclusively at Pattos Place. The Roof engine is scratchbuilt.

All I can say is with Budget Direct you get what you pay for, think twice before insuring with them, cheaper is not always better.

Can you fit a little firecracker in the rocket? Create your own Captain Risky advert.

I only ask because I claimed on my home and contents with them after the Newy storm earlier this year and they were brilliant. Paid out a large amount within a week when the big insurers were stalling and under valuing.

I've got 2 cars with them but haven't had to claim..... thankfully.

Cheers,
Mike.

You're right, cheaper is not always better. But value for money is what counts. Personally, I have Budget Direct for all of my cars and both my home and contents. And I've had Budget Direct involved in two claims: one where I was not at fault and the other where an errant hare ran in to my car, causing a couple of $k's worth of damage. In both instances I could not fault the service I got from BD. They outshone the service I received from my state's automobile association when I was insured with them, who's assessor had clearly made up his mind before even stepping foot on my property and who's management then told me to go elsewhere as soon as I told them that I was unhappy with the situation (needless to say, they lost my business the very next day! And now I see they have ads on tv stating that the customer is important ).

With that approach, you will always get ripped off. Again, value for money is what counts. In this instance, ie insurance, make sure that what is covered in the policy suits you and shop around to get the best price for those inclusions.

As much as it is incorrect to state that the cheapest insurance is always the best, it is just as incorrect to state that the dearest is always the best.

If anyone believes the Falcon is actually being "wrecked" in these commercials, I have a bridge in Sydney they might be interested in buying...

Why wouldn't it be a genuine GS if it is a Falcon 500??

Plenty of XB Falcon 500 GS's I personally own two of them.

GS was an option pack, not a separate model. GS could be optioned onto Falcon 500 and Fairmont.

Come to Glen Waverley. Camry drivers here constantly don't indicate, don't stay in their lane, ignore give way and stop signs, don't stop at pedestrian crossings and love going 20km under the limit.

Pretty risky in my book...
