Insurance costs would be huge, I've got cover for customers vehicles up to $500,000 in value but if I've got some earth moving equipment in there, two excavators and that's it my $500K is done.

It costs me $6233/year for that level, this dude would have probably needed $1.5M worth at a minimum.

The vehicles were independently owned and in the process of being rebuilt and restored. Many are irreplaceable. It is believed the business was not insured.

I’ve been following the Muscle Car Factory’s build of an Eleanor Mustang in the Unique Cars Mag for the last 4 issues.

I guess that’s the end of that article.

What sort of lowlife does that?
Some scumbag with a grudge has not only destroyed Leo's business, but the dream cars of several people.

The customer cars should have their own insurance, well a smart owner would.
The building will be insurer by the land lord (assuming the victim doesn't own it)
Leaving the contents, which he will have no excuse for insurance.
His broker would have also sold him BI to cover the time the building can not be used.
