I've been looking about for new drive shafts.
Whilst looking on ebay and other parts stores, a few say Auto only i.e. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PAIR-x-C...%7CMake%3AFord The ebay ones happen to have the same image as the SCA ones https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/...SPO215082.html but at a considerable price difference (Ebay $230 for both while SCA has $303 EACH) and the SCA dont state if they are for auto or manual. My Focus is a 5 speed manual. I havent been able to get a definitive answer whether there is a key difference between the drive shafts being for manual or auto. Was just wondering if you need specifically manual drive shafts or if the "auto" are really just universal? |

For those that stumble across this thread, I got a response from a seller.
Some manuals have an inner teeth of 23, others have 26. So you can use an "auto" only if your inner teeth match your gear box and obviously if your outter teeth match your wheel bearing/hub assembly |
