Roof / Headliner Replacement Perth

Hi

Can anyone recommend someone to replace my roof / headliner in Perth?

Vehicle is a BFII Fairmont Ghia and has just started to let go.

I want the best job I can get as I've had the car since new, still looks like new, and I want to keep it that way.

Plenty advertise on Gumtree in Perth, pretty simple job to do yourself if you are good at tinkering.

Paskal in Bibra lake do the material and the glue, plenty of you tube vids on how to do it

If you lay the front seats right down and pull the rear swab you can get the hood lining out the back door

Maybe, i have always pulled them out the rear with the seats down and the rear lower swab removed

I used Minetrans in Kewdale to do mine over the years (BF ute and BF Typhoon) did a great job

Sew good wouldn't touch my BMW. I was shopping around NOR for the old E34 and my falcon ute. Wanted to find someone who could do the old e34 and used my falcon "bread and butter simple" job as a sweetener.
Ended up getting the falcon done at Scott's trimming services 11 prindiville drive wangara (around the corner behind wanneroo mufflers).

He did an awesome job, way better than I managed when I eventually DIYed the beemer.

DIY isn't easy, good glue costs heaps and I still had issues on my DIY job. But his standard falcon job that he did for me was great. I did it on the cheap with me removing, stripping and re-installing myself - because - and I can't stress this enough - the hard part is getting decent material/foam and glue so it holds, and that part costs as much when DIYing the rest, so don't bother. Leave the material and bonding to professionals and it will last a long time.

I went DIY for the e34 because sew good wouldn't touch it and scott's wanted $500 for the same falcon like material if I also stripped it and reinstalled myself. I wanted something close to the OE for it, a felt not knitted velour, as sew good and everyone pointed out it was NLA, so my next choice was a fake suede but no one would do it. I ended up $300 DIY for fake suede from spotlight. Not perfect but no shop would use the material I wanted.

Anyway, I was impressed by the work I received from scott's motor trimmers wangara, also impressed by the other work they did there while I was in the shop.

So true. Unless you have watched motor trimmers do it, DIY is cheaper, but nastier.
Just had my Territory done, and it was a lot bigger job than I anticipated, the number of plastic interior panels that had to come off, well, .... a lot more than I thought.

same as a wagooon altho rear is a bit more involved.

Jason, the owner, is a Mopar guy and specialises in muscle cars (he used to have a couple of E38 Chargers and a Challenger). Most of the guys and girls who work there, including Jason, are deaf and they do a great job for a very good price. They do a lot of old-skool cars and take great care.

So far they've done the complete interior in my Charger (including a full repro R/T rear seat), headlinings in two Falcons and two BMWs, and they will be doing the headlining and leather seat reupholstery in my AUII Rebel very soon. They've done jobs for my mates' muscle cars, too (just finished a Capri for one of them).

They obviously have staff who can hear, and Jason himself can communicate a bit with his hearing aid and lip-reading, so no issues with phoning or dealing with them in person.
