Will anyone seriously buy this car???
They'd have more chance of moving it if they repainted it back to its original paint scheme.. and asked market rates for it. Moding a car like this normally reduces its value not increases its value!

if someone buys it for $69K then I guess that's how much the buyer figured it was worth to them, for me I wouldnt be forking out that much for it.

Has been advertised for sale for quite a while now, clearly is a hard sell at all the advertised prices to date!

I don't mind the exterior. I'm not a fan of the interior though, and I don't think I could live with it day in day out.
Nargee brought it along on the Bathurst cruise in March. It was easy to follow though!!

Pay the the car and it's owner a bit of respect. It's not everyones cup of tea but wasn't mean't to be. The owner is a member here and also owns a beautiful Super Pursuit. He loves his Fords like the rest of us.

Yeah.. its an AWESOME paint job on it... its even got FPV airbrushed faintly up along the side in the blue section..
its won almost every trophy for its category its been in!!!! The old owner did have it for sale on here... (i think) he traded it in on his new ute & now its for sale at the dealer.. so it really "hasnt been for sale for ages"!!!! Yes it probably is a little harder to sell as you have a limited buyers, but thats what happens when you modify your car this much. By the way the owner used it as his everyday car too... he didnt just hide it away for shows... |

Ugh I read a big article on this car a while ago. Not my cup of tea, if I saw this driving down the road I would burst out laughing. Looks stupid.

Appreciate the hard work that has gone into the car. You have to see the car in person to appreciate the level of detail and the quality of workmanship. It's not to everyones tastes. Who cares. I think theres around 120k worth of work spent on that car. Paintjob is faultless. Keep in mind the car was rear ended too, so it was painted once, then underwent a complete respray after repairs were done. Not a patch job.

well the paint job has certainly done it's job, people are taking notice. Personally i like the paint job, but i could understand the amount of work in it but i wouldn't pay that for it... but maybe im a cheap

personally the paint work is 'out there' in my opinion - however this doesn't stop someone other than the original owner enjoying it. Personally if you don't have something positive to say - how about a little respect for a Forums Member that obviously loves his Ford's.
personalisation of a car is a great thing, and we all do it. Just some do it differently to others. Who cars if you've got some money to throw around - do you turn your noses up at people that buy porsche's or similar?

I dont mind the car myself. Its great to see something different out there and at the shows. Better than going to shows and seeing lines of exactly the same BA's. You have to remember this vcar was built as a show car predominantly and as such has to really stand out. Those that frequent shows will know there is always some cars there that are purpose built for the show scene and most fit into a category. Like best paint, best interior, best sound system (sound off). Alot of cars get built this way predominantly for the show scene and hats off to the owners for the committment.
The good thing about this GT was it was street driven and not trailored to the shows.

I've passed this car when it was sitting on the M5 (I was doing uhm, lets just say 110) and my car is the same colour. While it's hard to have a good look at a car when you're going past it that fast, it certainly caught my attention from a long way away and to me it looked the goods. I'm just not a fan of the wheels.
