Just wondering if anyone has been watching this on Showtime?
I must admit i'm absolutely hooked... i had serious reservations when it first came on, was expecting a drama/series about iraqi war to be atrocious (i.e. 'blackhawk down' style atrocious) but it really makes you consider everything the troops go through and the people back at home. Draws a similar bow to band of brothers. Definately recommended, 4 1/2 stars. Hopefully it comes to free-to-air or at least released on DVD.

I watched it when it was on over here, thought it was quite good. I don't think it is in the same league as Band of Brothers though, especially action wise.
Does make you think though |

Grab a C-Band satellite TV setup and see real news, unedited unlike FOX and SKY News.
Yanks are doing better than Australia's news outlets would have you believe.

While it's a bit removed from the truth of things (from what I hear from seppos who have been overe there) it's a bloody good show. Pity it's been dropped.
Full season is getting a DVD release in the states in late Feb I think. But damn I met some officers like underpants. |
