Default Web Cams

Was just wondering if you can use your normal Digi Camera as a web cam ??????? Well the kids were wondering as most of their mates have them now .........

I used to be able to with a few cheapies I had but I now have a Kodak Z740 and MSN doesnt seem to reconise it ................ Is it a case that I cant use it or am I just plain too stupid to figure it out ???????

Unless it has software that lets you use it as a webcam it won't recgnise it. So you're not that stupid :P

I dont like your chances, only some digital cameras have the option for that i believe, although if you have an eye toy (For PS2) you can use that as a webcam for your computer with the right drivers

Mother Nature.
I have an old Kodak DX 4330 using the supplied a/v cable for the camera that hooks into t.v, i can plug it into "USB videobus 2" (made by belkin) it do's work that way but the picture was black n white for me??
anyhooo here it is... in a previous post, however for the price of it you
could probably buy 2 webcams!http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=35328
