The people who organised the auction of the last Monaro were expecting to receive over $250,000. It sold for $187,600 - article
This is why I despise the Holden brand. Not because of the products who wear the badge as they are just inanimate objects. It is because people continually build them up to be more then they are. The red circle brigade and their supporters have the opinion that: - if it is a Holden then it must be Australian - if it is a Holden then it is a good car - if it is a Holden then it is better than the equivalent Ford Although the above three statements have been correct on numerous occassions, it does not apply all the time and to all products wearing the circular badge. Yet ask any Holden bogan and they will tell you otherwise. FF |

Well for starters, holden have it better than ford in some aspects.
If you cant realise that, you are the one with the problem. Apart from that, the last monaro auction was for FUND RAISING. So it went to a good cause. Lukemia I think. |
