Default AU's at FPV day *not dial up friendly*

Just a few snaps of some of the AU's that were at FPV day... some true stunners. The keep looking better each year.

Also, huge congrats to the admin team at AFF who made the stand a fantastic advert for AFF... I would expect quite a few new members from it. Chucky's loudspeaker Q&A was a true thing of "beauty" :

I think you'll find it has a bit to do with the lowered quality of the pics as well...

Great shots.

I am currently uploading the pics I took, also mostly of the AUs on display.
It was a fantastic day and the AFF display and stand looked great.

That ute is terrible IMHO.

Some great shots there though. The XR50 bar gives the AU front end an entirely new sorta shape, it doesnt look as rounded as most of them do.

Wow! veeeery nice AU's there.

That purple SHV BA ute looks absolutely shithouse. Why take a already handsome looking Falcon and try to make it look like a FUGLY Commonwhore?? Don't think they'll sell many of them front bars.

edit: Added a pic of the ute.

I should point out that the ute is a legitimate FULL ON drag car. Its not a road car, its a fully modified drag car. It's not the best looking car I admit but theres a heap of work in it and the hood scoop is purely functional. Its not ment to look pretty, its ment (and does) go fast.

I remember seeing those kits advertised almost a year ago ... unbeleiveable how much they look like a commodore.

Some great pics there, was good to see the cars that everyone is so passionate about. Thanks to all those that were present. I didnt realise how rare Narooma Blue was on a T series until yesterday.

I had a differant view to the show but dont we all anyways it was good to meet some of you guys and see the cars as well but i thought there was way too many standard vechiles on display and i walked away with nothing maybe a set of 20"-forced induction-carbonfibre might get me a trophy next time.

just my view guys nothing personal

They almost are racing slicks. The resolution is only 3 1/2 megapixels (according to casper) and that may be the main cause
I have one tyre with 85% tread due to doing a sidewall on one but the rest don't have much tread.
That will be $1064 dollars for a set sometime soon. DAMN

There were some great AU's and BA's there but it was also great to see some 70's dinosaurs. Really love those old beasts
As long as it's a tickford or FPV car that's alright, even if standard.

I don't think it would be too happy if I still had my forte and had showed up with that
Sorry I didn't get to do some more work on your bus casper, I started getting surrounded by people and the guy with the LWB silver AU fairlane took up most of my time after that.
Once I get a car bra and side mirror bra's, I will attend some more shows in VIC and even NSW

Not sure what the judges were looking for, but if it makes you feel better, the minginator didn't get a trophy aswell.

OK just PM or email me when your ready
Now for your super glue problem casper, the answer is nitromethane
Have consulted my friends and they reckon you can get super glue removing chemicals (which contain small amount of nitromethane) from most hardware stores

I wanted to fix your drivers door handle scratches but got overwhelmed for a few minutes there yesterday
