I've been thinking about doing something similar. Get the running gear out of a crashed F6 and transfer it to a XK-XP style body. Leave the body and interior original and only have non standard wheels and ride height. Would be the ultimate sleeper. FF |

Stating the obvious but I'd be doing some serious work on the brakes too. Would an XR6T power plant be cheaper and easier to come by. It would make a very cool project. Are the XR6T motors longer than the old 170?
In hindsight I probably should have turboed the 221 in my XT ute, just for something different... |

There is a nice XP (I think) with a very neat turbo set up in Victoria.

ur lookin at alot of hard work cause the ecu is needs all the ba/f parts otherwise it wont run the engine

ur lookin at alot of hard work cause the ecu needs all the ba/f parts otherwise it wont run the engine but that would be a cool project, theres a guy here with a ba turbo in an xf he might be a good person to get in contact with
