I think Greece will win, but it will be tight.

GO AUSSIE GO!!

Stay away from all the Fish 'N Chip shops in Australia if the Aussies win. You may get more than you bargained for in your food! ;)

Cheers,

I'd love for Australia to win but I just don't see it happening...

If Greece wins, I'm gonna hear about it from my brother-in-law (he's Greek) for the next 10 years, that's all I know lol.

i think they'll step up to the plate and win. by the way, in soccer it's called goals not points, just a trivial thing.

Guus Hiddink the Master Coach Aussies for me & hopefully all the Aussies play well & id love the see Mark Viduka have a blinder. Once Harry Kewell, Tim Cahill & John Aloisi are back on the pitch look out.

For the record i picked the Aussies 2 nil

Australia won 1-0. But it was still a dissapointing performance by both teams. Especially Australia. They should have played a lot harder and agressive to show that they can be a fierce team and to watch out. I think after that performance, their world cup future is looking very bleak. But I hope I am wrong.

It was a friendly.

Australia had three key players off due to injury.

Why would the coach risk injuring more players in a friendly? out:

It was a great game and Australia dominated the whole time, this shows that we have a real chance of getting through the first leg of the World Cup.

Well done Socceroos, I'll be watching all your games.

I am saying it from the point of view that when we go into the world cup, the first three teams they come up against are croatia, japan and brazil. This is a very hard group to compete in. So what I am saying, if they played a bit more fiercly and scored another 2 goals which could of easily been done, the three teams I have mentioned may take Australia as a bit more of a threat.

It's is just before the world cup. They have to be able to show they are a dominating team. But good on them for winning. Greece didn't desreve it. A lot of pathetic shots were played by them.

Why on earth would we want that? One of the best things about the socceroos is they are nearly always underestimated.

Australia should have won by alot more. Sterjovski wasted alot of opportunity. Australia had a few of the 'A team' players out. The defence was strong, which is a great sign. The offence needs work, but Guus will take care of that.

But why not move up a level, and have other teams thinking twice about playing Australia. Why not be looked at as a threat of winning?

I thought that would be good, and also boost the confidence of the Australian team.

Under Promise, Over Deliver...i think Australia may be playing a Wolf in sheeps Clothing game at the moment...no doubt that The Brazil Coach was watching and studying their game..If they dont give away to much, they leave more to supprise with in the World Cup. Just my 2c. And the other thing...It's a friendly...it doesnt make sense to Crush Greece into oblivion..the harder the team worked the more prone they are to injury..wouldn't you rather have a full strenght team for the world cup?
