scientifically speaking you would be blind if you were invisible. something about the image we see has to be reflected in our eyes, so if we are invisible there is nothing to reflect off? hopefully, someone has some better understanding than me.

It could be possible, do you know how fibreoptic works? once light goes in one end it doesn't come out till the other end, you can bend it back on itself and the light will turn, LCD screens were impossible a few decades ago so it could happen. If you had enough fibre optics you could basically look through to the other side.
