Default Hot weather !! what Anti Persperants Best?

Bloody over active bastard sweat glands!! I reckon I've tried them all (anti-persperants) with little success, anyone seen that new Lynx add, with the guy and the sweat gushing armpits, yeah well I bought some of that stuff, no FN good..

Wondering if any one else has tried that Lynx and found it useless... ?

Whats the best one to use?

Yep, found it useless myself. Started to stink after a few hours.

Best one that I have found is Rexona. Seems to do the trick for me.

what about looking at your diet, sometimes that can impact on your body odour.

This is going to sound really sad but I am using Ford Racing anti perspirant deodorant. Picked it up at NQR for a laugh but the stuff is really good. No sweat, even today!

I personally think that Lynx stuff is only good for smelling good when you go out on the town. Chicks dig that "Accelerate" stuff to no end!

Mate I use the Adidas anti-perspirant and it is good.

try a speedstick instead of a spray...i use the menen one, its black cover and it goes on like a bar of soap but its dry and smells nice up close...it last longer on your body and you use less of it then a spray so it stay longer in the house...pretty cheap too. you got to keep it in a cool place because the bar can brake in hot wheather...i just put some on before i leave the house...last all day

Nivea For Men Roll on...I'm using "Dry"

Reasons...

a) You dont inhale the s#1t

b) It's really good at reducing/stopping perspiration

c) Smells good

One hint...avoid eating Garlic, Curry or anything with sulfur (like cabbage) That stuff seeps out of your pores, i kid you not. Diet plays a big part into what your BO smells like :
And if you drink coffee...i balance one cup of coffee for One big glass of Water..

Oh boy a chance to show, some work related knowledge! Read the label of ingredients, Aluminium Zirconium based products, as per the Menen stick are technically better than the Rexona areosol followed by the roll-ons. Formulators can stuff up the actives but this is a good rule of thumb. BTW people to react differently to clothes staining & white 'drying' on the skin; again this is to do with the formulation rather than the 'active'.

There was a good segment on the TV show "What's Good For You" the other night on different anti-perspirants.

I use the roll on stuff and the spray.

Lynx africa roll on and lynx dry spray. Together it seems to work fine for me.

I just do Lynx roll-on Accelerate then Boss purfume on my neck. The roll on is really sticky for the first 10 secs but dries out pretty quick.

FA Anti Persp. For Men
Blue Bottle. Top stuff. Used it for years, and haven't had an issue, not even in the Top End when its 38 degrees and 80% humidity.
Its powdery, seems to work a helluva lot better than that other watery stuff like Lynx and the like.

Cheers

i also use addidas anti-persperant
Are you sure your not using the lynx body spray? that isnt a deoderant but raher a body-cologne. Lynx have like only 3 different types of actual anti-persperant i believe. There body sprays have been around for ages and are best used for a night out on the town and not sprayed under your arms.

If you want to reduce the possible chance of Alzeimers, id stay away from any product with Aluminium in it, its a heavy metal which builds up in your body/brain, and there is some link to it causing Dementia/Alzeimers. Not only does you skin absorb it, you breathe it in when you spray it.
I think Parkinsons disease may also be linked to it.

There are natural products that uses 'Crystal Alum' which is just natural salts, and in my experience it works better than any commercial brand Anti Perspirant also. They are usually non-fragrant.

Btw before anyone says, "but people drink from aluminium cans all the time", they are coated with a clear film, to stop the metal from leeching/reacting with the acids in the drink.

Rexona 24 hr Intensive in the black can is the best. Works really well. Lynx is just crap, doesn't stop the BO smell, just tries to mask over it with fragrance.

Right - I'vetried the black can after reading all the feedback on here, not bad.. I must say it's pretty good. Someone mentioned the "whats good for you" docco on TV the other night which is what gave me the idea to put a post one here so i can get some real peoples review on the subject...

Sometimes It seems that I get ammune to some anti perserants if I use the same one for longer periods, the speed sticks I have used, and they work for a while, then my body gets used to them (I Think) and they don't seem to work as well...

On the TV docco they said you could get Botox injections to Block the swaet glands for around $1500 and it lasts for 8 or so months. I'm not that rich, i'de rather buy a nice set for rims for my car...

I used to use Rexona, but after a few days of usage, it used to make me itch like crap.
So I changed to FA, and haven't had a problem after 3 years now.

Fill Truck with diesel.

(Pick a bowser with broken auto shut off.)

Spray diesel all over shirt, pants, legs, shoes and socks.

Voila! Diesel will not evaporate and the smell will cover ALL body odour for hours!
