Default New Car..

Just purchased a 1997 EL Fairmont Ghia in Rengency red 170,000km.

Champaign leather, factory sunroof, immaculate inside and out.

I can't belive how well the EL has aged. Its still classy, and comparible to modern cars in many ways, and looks dam fine. The quality of the materials is outstanding, with little fade (only on the door pulls really) and little signs of wear.

For the price ($6,500) it was outragously good value. Its for the GF and she was after MX-5 or a ute. But for half the price we got a newer car, with less km's, all the features.

I can't belive they are this cheap. They are a lot of car for the money.
