Default Surround sound headphones

Hey all, i'm after a set of surround sound headphones but really have no idea about them. Anyone got any experience with these? I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones already but would really like surround.

So just need a good sounding, loud, surround sound set of headphones that won't break the bank.

Under $100* pick: Sony MDR-G74SL
Duggan calls these a great "walk around town kind of headphone," perfect if you're looking for something that suits an active lifestyle. For portable headphones, they have respectable drivers (speakers), which deliver deeper bass and are very durable. The behind-the-neck headband is perfect for people who wear hats or helmets.

$100* to $200* pick: Sennheiser HD477
These are great all-purpose headphones for stereos, PCs, airplanes and more. "All of us here at the store would agree that these are the best-sounding headphones for under $200," says Duggan. This model has circumaural ear couplings, which cup the ear completely. However, they're closed (also known as sealed), which means they block a lot of external noise and cut down on the amount of sound leakage. Even without plugging them in, you can barely hear room noise when you have them on. They have a padded adjustable over-the-head band and soft ear cushions.

$200* to $300* pick: Sennheiser HD595
"This is a beautiful set of headphones for the serious audiophile at home," says Duggan. He adds they're particularly good for classical and jazz music fans. do you want true surround sound or just stereo headphones that can mimic it? i've had a pair of Zalman Theatre6 headphones for about 2-3 years now and they are awesome. 3 speakers in each ear for that true surround sound. i bought them for $60 and they still only cost that much. i used them for gaming and they work perfectly. you'll hear footsteps from about 140 degrees behind you and i guarantee you'll turn around and face what it is face to face as the sound spacing works 100%. these are THE BEST for the price and i cant recommend them highly enough. the only downsides could be they are quite large to house the 3 speakers in each ear and they could be bassier but that could be my soundcard or whatever.

id prefer true surround sound. Was hoping to finally make use of the digital outputs of my soundcard but ah well lol Where could i buy some Zalmans from? I have a very similar model to the HD477 Sennheiser's and they are awesome but get a bit harsh on the ears after a while..

Just out of curiosity, what model Sennheisers do you have? I bought the HD435 not long ago after much debating. I love them, I just wish I could lay on my side with them!!

HD4 somethings lol had em for a way over a year the numbers rubbed off em. Cost me $140 at staff discount price if that helps?
