Default Funny Typhoon story

Was at the drags last night at Kwinana and a guy who had a Typhoon was having a chat to me and it was his first time there. He had an unmodified BF 6 speed auto Typhoon. He was curious when was our line going to start moving.

Anyway we had our turn and then lined up again and he got a 13.6 for his first run in an unmodified F6 which I thought was rather good.
He then said something that made me laugh out loud literally not LOL.
"I hope my boss isn't here cause this is my company car"
So it is true that cars you don't own really do go quicker.

yep, used my xr6t to tow the 67 xr to Heathcote, then let my young bloke have his first taste of drag racing. Got through 5 rounds of DYO. Ran 14.1 in standard xrt 6 speed auto. Company cars go OK

I know of a yellow one that run a 12.9 with just a filter change (6spd auto), and another 6 spd completly stock, virgin drag driver (getting on in the vintage too) did a 13.1

That would be fun to have a F6 company car. Must work hard to have that company car.

I'm sure that company cars are built on a different line at Ford because they seem to be alot stronger.. our company phoon (manual) ran a 13.3 at the drags last year. Our company VZ Clubby (297kw) also seems to be quicker than most.

Lets not even mention the fact that they are much more rust resistant (handy when launching a boat), and have heavy duty suspension for carrying a pallet of bricks lol :

If you want a company car to take to the drags and it dosnt matter if you get fired for it, I recomend dominos. bet they dont have typhoons though, or something that will pull a 20.

You should go well :P . On the Prius forums, a lot of people were saying that they were quicker than Vipers and Mustangs (I have a slight feeling they weren't trying). What a machine!

Yeah don't you know? It's got to be delivered in 30 minutes or else the Pizza is free. So, those cars need 12 minutes from 0-60, so you replace the accelerator pedal with an on/off switch.

In all seriousness, the delivery guys always used to go fanging it around my old house, and you are right, bouncing off limiters and such. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
