Here is an automotive oddity
Whilst many will only know Ghia as a Ford high level trim badge, Ghia is (was) in fact one of the most illustrious Italian design houses, and still has a major design role within Ford My son Angus came across this oddity the other day...a radical and adventurous dream car presented at the 1992 Turin Motor Show called the Ghia "Focus". Based on a shortened Ford Escort Cosworth platform, it was reportedly a very rapid sportscar. Whilst Ford decided not to go into production (too radical and too expensive) I wonder if it is the first incarnation of the Focus name. Pics are scanned, so quality is a little poor
