Default I saw the worst movie ever tonight

Took my daughter to see 'Epic Movie' tonight, I can't believe how bad it was. Wasn't a laugh in the whole movie, maybe a quiet chuckle or too, but it was so lame and stupid. Whoever gave them the money to make that, must not have read the script. Do not see this movie.

There were laughs but very far and few between. I reckon the rip off of Pirates of the Carribean was the best bit.

I don't know why, but **** that was funny. The movie was over done and lame on the whole. Certainly wont take points from Scary Movie or Not Another Teen Movie anytime soon that's for sure!

Thanks for the heads up.

Recently saw Blood Diamond, was very interesting and held my attention! Recomend it. Not for the kids though.

Thing is, it costs the studio's around 2-3mil to make and they can make an easy 300mil profit from the box office.

So they'll keep doing it :(

Hell yes!!!! : The previews and trailers could almost be classed as false advertising!
"Monsters in the woods, weird abandon communit"y turned out to be a bunch of weirdos living in denial to modern day life and dressing up in home made costumes. For me, that was the worst movie I have ever seen.

I don't go to the movies much but thanks for the heads up on this new one.
I hadn't even heard about it until this thread....now I can see why. :

Blood Diamond was a very good movie, though at some stages there Di Caprio didn't know he if he was an Aussie, a kiwi or a yarpie.

Very well shot, you could swear that some of it was Australia's Kimberely and it didn't pull any punches at all.

Pretty close to the truth too with De Beers, the manipulation of Diamond prices and the complict nature in the trade.

had the misfortune of seeing "Epic Movie", movie was crap but the company was good.

The last one I saw was "Smokin' Aces" - not bad but gets a bit gorey at the end, all Ill say is dont attempt to carry a chainsaw on a slippery floor as you might fall on it.

Well I will put that down on my list of movies not to see.
I got tortured on a trip to the US by the airline screening the Spice girl movie that so far has been the worst rubbish I've had the misfortune to watch.

Wait till it's on weekly hire.

One great movie I did watch was 'Casino Royale', the best Bond movie I've seen IMHO. Much darker than the others and closer to Ian Fleming's vision I think.

agreed, Epic Movie was horrid, was so lame dragged on forever, not your usual parody movie where you dont want it to end just yet, i was looking at the time after 15 mins.

i laughed more in the Norbit trailer, than the whole Epic Movie

Nothing beats the movie "open water" or something like that about the true story of a couple of divers that got left by the boat and ended up being eaten by sharks was at the movies bout 12-18 months ago, ive seen just about every movie out including the ones mentioned and I can safely say that this is the worst movie ever put to film, and it got 5 star reviews from those old fart movie reviewers! If u ever want to waste 2 hours of ur life I highly recommend it!!!

Yeah "Epic Movie" was alright, but it seemed rushed.

I like the Scary Movie series, but everything else after that is meh.....

Parodies inlvolving Leslie Nielsen are pure gold. IMO

if you want to spend dollars and see a great movie, watch

http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/

has a spin city edge to it, has at least some reality, ie, history of the 300 spartans that fought a crap load of guys to let thier bulk of the army to get away, had me on the edge of the couch the whole way through...

great effects, heaps of action.

only prob is, i think it comes out in aus some time mid march or thereafter.

go to the site and watch the previews, and read up on the history of the 300 spartans.

mick.

ah cmon epic movie wasnt that bad.

i think if you go to watch it expecting a movie you will be disappointed.

i however went to that movie expecting something completely stupid and i enjoyed it. i laughed my *** off in parts of it. Why? i find simple things amusing? didnt go for any type of story line, i went to watch dumb **** happen and get a few laughs and it worked.

I saw The Last King of Scotland, it was really really good, the acting in it was brilliant and it was all filmed on location in Uganda, its a little bit slow at times but i can highly reccomend it.
