Default anyone with tongue pierce

sup, anyone have/had a tongue pierce, that had problem with the barbell going inside the tongue? a week after i got it done it went inside my tongue during the day, but it stopped doing that.... but at night the end is going through the bottom at and tongue is 'half closing' over the bottom of barbell, so bit of force to get it back down. some people say its like a natural thing if you have a foreign object through your tongue & it tries to remove it?? lol.

been 2 weeks, not swollen anymore, only spray tongue once every second day now..

what can I do to keep it from going through my tongue at night....... no i don't wanna remove it...... and the place i got it done (off your tree) in epping are a little dodgy.

If the place you went to is dodgy, try going to another and asking their advice.

I thought tongue piercing was for women, to make oral sex more stimulating for their male partner. Why would a man get it done?

Not wanting to put a downer on the tongue piercing fraternity but here is something to consider. My brother is a fireman and to say he has a hatred of tongue piercings is a bit of an understatement. Quite often they come across people that have been in an accident of some kind that causes the tongue to swell. If you have a piercing and this happens he says its a bloody (literally) and horrid ordeal to try and get the thing out. Some of the things they have had to do to rip a stud out would make some people quite queezy.

I'm with xcgxl, i thought the tongue piercing was a 'gay' thing.. Here all the homosexual males have them, you don't see them even on the alternative crowd.. If you are gay that is fine but I wouldn't think you'd have a great response from AFF about problems with them.

Hi, I'm Lisa, Paul's lady. I am a body piercer. I agree with RACINGdork....until the muscles in your tongue restrengthen (then they will close around the bar snuggly) you need larger balls. Usually, you would have been pierced with a 14 guage, 18-22 mm bar with size 3 balls. If the swelling has stopped then you could change down to a 14-16mm but with size 4 balls until your muscle tone returns, then you can change back to the smaller balls. Your piercer should have organised with you to change down in size after 10 days or so. I would always suggest you go back to your original piercer but if you are not happy doing so, I would be pleased to supply the shorter bars and larger sized balls for you.
I could bring them to the b series meet on Sat night if you are going.... arrange something through Paul if you need my help
Good luck with it all!
lisa

bit of a plug here.....
anyone looking for a piercing in the Castle Hill area, consider me as your qualified piercer. I do not have a shop but work from home. I have several years experience piercing and have been a nurse all my life. As i dont pay rent, my prices are very reasonable but my work is top standard. Message Paul if you are interested.

Hey, I never said it was a GAY thing!

Suppose you WERE gay and you had your tongue pierced, would that make you talk normal?

LOL that the swear filter lets me say ****sucker.

you say you do not have a shop, but do you have any rings or anything that you do sell... like some black captives or something. 12mm i think. had my ears done almost 4 weeks ago.. so looking at changing them in a couple of weeks.

i went to wicked ink (at penrith), cause i had my eyebrow done there as well but i dont really like the service after the piercing is done. aside from one guy.

BTW, who is Paul? :

To start with, if you know the place is 'dodgy' why on earth would you get something like this done there?

I honestly didn't think blokes got their tongues pierced, don't they get downstairs done for the 'ladies pleasure'?

I have seen heaps of people with piercings and the only men I have spoken with that have them are most definitely gay (and proud to be so). That is just my experience, doesn't mean I am right
