I love that coffee table! I saw one at Harvey Norman that was similar but the engine was just a ceramic mock up or something.

I dont think they are fibreglass. I know the bumpers are steel. Who would pay $2700 for a fibreglass *** end of an XW?

i'd imagine they wouldnt grab a good XW / XY and cut the *** off it. they'd use a writeoff im sure.
they may also be pieced together with rare-spares rust replacement sections, or taiwanese copy panels |

Yeah they are steel panels, I had a good ol yarn to the guy who makes them one day. A lot of work goes into making them.
